FAQ

Where do I find my nearest retailer?

Please visit our Retailers page to find your nearest SAINT Bridal Couture retailer

How far in advance should I order my gown?

We recommend you order your gown around 10 months before your wedding date. This timing allows for your gown to be produced in our Auckland Atelier and then delivered to the retailer you ordered through. This timeframe will also allow ample time for any alterations you may be wanting to have carried out with your preferred tailor once you have received your gown. Please note that we do not provide a customisations or alterations service in-house, so if you are looking to personalize your Saint gown, we recommend you consult with your local bridal alterations’ expert, so you can include this into your timing.

What size dresses do you produce?

We use the UK standard sizing system and make our gowns to our UK6 – UK24 sizing range. Please refer to the size chart on each gown page for a sizing indication or reach out to your nearest retailer or our customer care team for more.

Do you deliver worldwide?

We have retailers in a wide range of locations worldwide. Each retailer carries a selection of our collection pieces. During your fitting you will try on your favourite styles and order your gown through the retailer, your gown will be delivered to the retailer you purchased through, once completed & shipped from our Auckland Atelier.

If you are not located near to one of our retailers, please enquire about our simple direct order process.

Will I need alterations?

Your gown will be ordered to the UK gown size that is the best fit based on your measurements that were taken during your fitting. The sample you try on in-store may not be true to the original UK sizing it was made to, due to multiple try-ons, potential slight softening and stretching of fabrics, or dry-cleaning. We always recommend choosing your UK gown size based on your measurements, and not by the fit of the sample gown alone.

Most of our brides’ gowns will require some form of alterations once received to achieve the perfect bridal fit for your big day. This may include hemming, taking the gown in at the seams, shortening of the straps, adding a bustle to the train etc.

As we are based in Auckland, New Zealand, we have recommended tailors in our location for Auckland based brides. Otherwise, we are happy to help connect you to your Retailer through whom you purchased your Saint gown, and they can assist with local recommendations for tailors near you who have worked with our gowns.
